A wall hanging spiral bound calendar for 2021, which opens out to double A4, (A3) size. All images were photographed by local photographer, Jeff Laurents, whose highly personal approach is to digitally transform the scenes captured by his cameras, into more painterly versions. Each month contains a unique artistic interpretation of iconic local scenes from the Isle of Thanet, on the eastern tip of the county of Kent. Scenes include the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate, a Dumpton Gap Scene, Bleak House, Broadstairs, a View of Minnis Bay, View from the Sands Hotel rooftop, Margate, and the Stacks at Botany Bay. Beneath each month’s image are that month’s calendar dates, on a separate drop down page. The front cover features a striking view of Ramsgate Royal Harbour. The back cover shows all the months images.The calendar is printed on 250 gsm Trucard, a robust material. The calendars are sent out, contained in a clear cellophane wrap, and packaged to avoid damage during delivery. The calendar fits into Royal Mail’s large letter category.

Jeff Laurents is a photographer specialising in capturing iconic local scenes in many tourist locations in South East England. He specialises in the digital manipulation of views captured by his cameras, transforming them into imaginative artistic interpretations, unlike conventional landscape and cityscape photography. Jeff publishes many of his images as calendars, greetings cards, postcards and placemats, selling them to his many clients, especially in the East Kent towns of Broadstairs, Margate, Ramsgate, Birchington and Whitstable. Jeff also creates prints of his work, and recently featured in an exhibition at Quex Park, Birchington.
